Welcome to Seattle Menopause Yoga.

Through sharing circles and yoga practice, Menopause Yoga can help you focus on finding simple ways to reconnect to yourself while fostering a sense of community and connection.

Menopause Yoga

The menopause in Menopause Yoga refers to the whole of a person’s transition from perimenopause to post-menopause.

What I Do

Menopause Yoga is designed to help anyone in perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause to manage symptoms and embrace transitions. It also aims to reframe the menopause as an opportunity for self knowledge, health, and empowerment. Through adapted movement with props, breathwork, and sharing circles, I provide resources for you to focus on finding simple ways to feel more like yourself.

How I Do It

You're in safe hands! You will be guided by an accredited Menopause Yoga teacher who specializes in supporting people through their menopause journey. I aim to integrate evidence-based research into menopause nutrition, complementary therapies, and medical facts on menopause hormone therapy. My approach also emphasizes open conversations about menopause and cultivating a supportive community.

Why I Do it

Lisa Mosconi, PhD, in her book The Menopause Brain, states, “Women who practice yoga tend to have reduced symptoms of stress and insomnia, as well as an improved physical quality of life, with fewer hot flashes and urinary and vaginal issues.” When hormonal fluctuations leave you feeling fatigued, the very thought of moving can seem overwhelming. I understand, because I've been there too. Just show up for gentle movement and rest.

Meet Naomi Fujita

Prior to completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2023, I spent many years in the field of data analytics. This career, while rewarding, often left me feeling untethered from the natural rhythms of life, which ultimately inspired me to deepen my yoga practice. Yoga has been a cornerstone of my life for over 20 years, offering me strength and balance through life's transitions. Now, it’s a way I can give back by sharing these benefits with others.

My sankalpa (intention) is to serve with care. While I respect the tradition of yoga, its philosophies and practices inspire me to offer accessible approaches for those navigating modern life and chronic stress. I aim to help people reconnect to themselves through my approach to yoga, tailored for modern needs.

In 2024, I trained with Petra Coveney, the creator of Menopause Yoga, in the U.K., and founded Seattle Menopause Yoga to support people experiencing perimenopause and menopause.
